Mishima Station

Area A : Higashiizu Area

Area B : Nakaizu Area

like Area A, is an area with many luxury resorts. The most popular hot spring area in Area B is Shuzenji, an old town formed around the historic temple of Shuzenji. Shuzenji is known for its beautiful bamboo forests, plum blossoms in spring, and autumn leaves in fall. The stop to get to Shuzenji on the Izu Hakone Railway is Mishima Station in Mishima City, home to the historic Mishima Taisha Shrine, once worshipped by samurai leaders.

Area C : Nishiizu Area

Nishiizu, like Minamiizu, is an area with many scenic spots. The sunsets are particularly spectacular, and it is said that you can see a beautiful sunset from anywhere. Particularly popular spots include Koganezaki, which shines golden in the sunset, and Dogashima, known as the Matsushima of Izu.

Area D : Minamiizu Area

The Minamiizu area is characterized by its spectacular views and history. There are many spectacular spots, such as Hirizohama Beach, a beautiful sea with an extremely high water quality rating, and Cape Irozaki, where you can see the endless horizon. Shimoda, the main town in the Minamiizu area, is also famous as the town where Perry once arrived, and there are spots where you can feel the atmosphere of that time.
